Minimum Phase and "Match Response to Target" function

Does REW take into consideration minimum phase when deciding on filter settings? Said differently, if REW thinks there is a phase issue at a certain frequency, will it try to correct it anyway? Thank you.

No, the EQ target match ignores phase, but it also ignores sharp dips and notches in the response which is where the non-minimum phase parts of the response will be found.
