I might have to check it out.. But, first, you know, I never saw the original series. I know, hard to believe but it is true. :)

I'm embarrassed to say, but i have only seen like 2 episodes of the original series. And this is hugely embarrassing as i'm a MASSIVE fan of older TV shows and have a whole wall of my house dedicated to shows like that. I am curious though and will probably binge watch a few seasons in preparation

This is the reboot of the old show and its awful in my opinion. I watched the first two episodes and could not get into it at all. The original series from the 80s with Richard Dean Anderson was much better.

The funny thing is that the only thing I know about the original MacGyver series is from the Simpsons. lol..

The thing I really liked about the original series was Richard did many of his own stunts and the stuff he did were actually believable and creative. This new show is way over the top
