That is exactly what I did. I have one finished and installed... waiting on the tapestry for the other one, but I have the materials to make the frame.

It was a fraction of the cost too.

I did the same in my room. More about decor than measured treatments, but I made 4 panels with leftover Linacoustic to place throughout the room. Love the look, the flexibility and the price.

I was going to make custom speaker grills that had the wood finish ofmy veneered cabinets, but I did not have a way to get a great picture of the cabinet veneer sheet. 2nd problem was was figuring out what part of the sheet the cabinet maker used. It is considerably cheaper to make, and easy enough for anyone to get professional results too.

So here is my first shot at framing the tapestry. 50" x 90" and I have another to go on the other side that just came in today. As soon as I finish painting and hanging my diffusor panels, I'll frame and hang the second one. This one is Pink Floyd DSOTM related, while the other is a horn/trumpet/jazz type pic.
