Is it just me or has anyone else been jonesing for a pair of these ?

it these speakers look so awesome in red, any folks have any opinions on them, gorgeous products and if they are as good as Dennis has discussed in his subwoofer review, I bet they will rock the house. Maybe even make the Mummy worth watching :rofl2::rofl2:

JTR does have some great looking speakers. I was lusting after a pair of the 215RM's.

What we heard at Axpona was superb, but what I heard was on the HT setup only. Dennis and Wayne have talked about how good his speakers are for audio.

Perhaps you could buy them for your neighbor to help him improve his system... THEN have another go at being a mummy... I mean watching the Mummy.

I'd be very interested in hearing them... wonder how they compare to Seaton?

I tell you, Jeff nailed "the look" with that Ferrari Red. The diffraction horn as part of the enclosure just looks stunning in color.

Now, does that use the coaxial 2-way BMS CD setup or is this the std two way box? Either way, its' a beast.

I agree with you about the horn. Adds a touch of sophistication!

That’s one fine looking speaker! If I were to ever get rid of my rf-7 II’s it would be for some JTR’s.

I've heard the Ferrari Red pair two or three times in different rooms and can say that they are a lust-worthy speaker. I'd love to add them to my speaker hoarding stable and they'd see a lot of use.

It is a 3-way, the waveguide is coaxial-loaded.

Will do. I'm about 99% sure it'll happen before the end of the year.

I know Jeff and have now heard a few of his speakers. I’d have to ask what he brought to the GTG to be sure, but in comparison to nearly all the DIYSG speakers and all of the commercial offerings on display, it was liked by myself and many others the most. I personally like the tonal balance of these speakers for music. Their efficiency allows for near limitless dynamics. Jeff makes great speakers.

I'll ruin the surprise since we have been texting. Look at my comments on his JTR show report, it about covers it. Jeff will have to pry those out of his cold dead hands if he wants them back.

You know what they say, once you go waveguide, you never go back.
