Hello and Happy New Year to everyone!
This is my first post in the forum. I have been playing around with the Umik-1 and the REW software. I calibrated my REW according to the instructions for using MS Win-10. I've watched a couple YouTube videos as well. I'm not going lie this is very confusing to a beginner. I saved my latest measurements and captured pictures as you can see here. If you need the actual file how do send it? How do you analyze these graphs? Are these good, bad or horrible? I will take more measurements once I know what I'm looking at. Thank you!

You can attach measurement .mdat files to your posts.

I tried to attach the .mdat file but it won't attach. It's 20.5 KBs because it has all 8 measurements in it. Is it too big?

Edit: I separated the file in half and it let me attach them.

Measurements look fine. The sub level seems rather high and it appears to be active during the tests of all the other channels, so difficult to see what they contribute themselves at the low end.

By looking fine are they okay? Do they need adjusting? When I installed Asio4All I was shown 8 speaker choices for 7.1 surround. The both subs turn on when #04 is selected and are measure simultaneously. How do I measure one sub at a time. Do I have to turn off or unplug one sub while measuring the other? What should their contributions be at the low end? How do you measure just the subs? Thanks!

Here's a pdf file for you to peruse.

It'll give you some qualitive guidance as to how to interpret some of the data that's returned by programs like REW .

As to your questions on balancing 7.2 levels > I can't help since I only run 2-channel playback.

:)
