Experience the nightmare behind the fairytale when “Gretel & Hansel” arrives on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital. Directed by Osgood Perkins, the film is a terrifying reimagining of the beloved Brothers Grimm fairytale for a new generation.

From Metro Goldwyn Mayer’s Orion Pictures, the film stars Sophia Lillis (IT, IT: Chapter 2) as Gretel, newcomer Samuel J. Leakey as Hansel and Alice Krige (Star Trek: First Contact) as The Witch. “Gretel & Hansel” was directed by Perkins from a screenplay by Rob Hayes. The film was produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger.

Fans can own “Gretel & Hansel” via purchase from digital retailers beginning April 7.

The film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on May 5. The Blu-ray disc features the film and special features in hi-definition and the DVD features the film and special features in standard definition. Both versions feature a Digital version of the film.

SYNOPSIS

A long time ago in a distant fairy tale countryside, a young girl leads her little brother into a dark wood in desperate search for food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil.
