I own a Cambridge Audio CXUHD 4K Blu-ray player (essentially an Oppo 203 clone) and it's connected to a Samsung UN65NU8000 display. I wanted to know if anyone could confirm for me if what I'm seeing when I press the remote's INFO button is correct when viewing UHD Blu-rays, based on my display's capabilities.
When I press and hold the INFO button, this is what pops up viewing 4K Blu-rays (running their HDR10 layer; my Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision, as none of them do):
[Additional Note: This is with ALL setting parameters in the player set to AUTOMATIC -- HDR/Color Space/Color Depth/Resolution]
MEDIA INFORMATION:
Resolution: 3840 x 2160
Frame Rate: 23.976p
HDR Format: BDMV HDR
Color Space: BT2020 YCbCr 4:2:0 10-Bit
Video Codec: HEVC
Current Bit Rate: 46.1 Mbps
Max Luminance: 4000 Nits
Min Luminance: 0.005 Nits
Video Bit Rate: 43.5 Mbps
HDMI (MAIN) OUTPUT INFORMATION:
Resolution: 3840 x 2160
Frame Rate: 23.976p
HDR Format: HDR
Color Space: BT2020 YCbCr 4:4:4 12-Bit
Does the color space and depth output to my Samsung NU8000 look correct? Should it be receiving 12-Bit/4:4:4?
Are the AUTO settings of the Cambridge sending correct data?
