Just received an email stating that they have as many beta testers as they can follow for now.

We are currently fixing an issue that has been tracked and we expect to have a new build in three or four days, we have your email on record and we will send it to you as soon as available.

The email I received went on to say that would be adding more beta testers in two to three weeks and I should contact them again then if still interested. I'll wait and try again later.

I reached out to Dirac again in accordance with their advice on the prior email and received back this reply:

"Thanks for your interest,


the Arcam beta testing is proceeding smoothly while initial beta testing has shown that the current NAD firmware doesn't reply properly with reference the new calibration tool so we will have to wait until NAD releases a firmware upgrade.


Best regards"

In the meantime enjoying the NAD and Dirac as they are.

Yes... I got something along those lines from them a couple of weeks ago, but my NAD is at the service center having the HDMI board replaced, so I'll have to wait anyway.

Here some additional info for beta testers...
some expect measurements where a sweep is sent to both channels of a pair.
That's not necessary, the measurements can work the same. In the analysis part the speakers are considered pairwise where appropriate in order to make sure that phase coherency is not lost on absolute phase improvement.
As a result, on a per speaker basis, the phase compensation may end up being slightly less aggressive in favor of phase coherency of the pair.
