I'm not a huge fan of the commercial cinema experience. Although, I am big fan of Dolby Cinemas!
That said, I was saddened to learn that Arc Light Cinemas were being shuttered. The move primarily affects California, but we had an Arc Light location here in the northern Washington DC area that was a nice place to catch a flick. Aside from the Dolby Cinema (which is is located in Northern VA, just outside of the district, Arc Light was the only commercial cinema I'd go to. I rarely went, yes... but still. Stinks to see these companies fall.
