So i was just notified of a second hand Amplitude16 for sale. The right size for our space. Dealer demo unit, with like new warranty, boxes etc. 9k price and an additional price break with cash equivalent payment. Free ship. Good value, folks?

I would be curious what is wrong with this unit. I thought they were in the 22K plus range new. Or more.

Trinnov microphone included?

You may also want to see what you’d pay for the Storm ISP 16 before making a decision. A new storm unit will include Dirac Active Room Treatment.

Do you have an Altitude processor?

If not, and you haven’t already, you’ll need to figure out if you can accommodate the input sensitivity and what the gain would be and if it will be sufficient. The gain isn’t published that I saw.

Valuewise, if you’ve got more a typical consumer processor, you can duplicate the specs and channel count with Hypex modules for about 4K less than the Amplitude offer.

The dealer's current plan for our project is all Lyngdorf. This little device just popped up and plans can always change. We are all for lots of experimenting with many components in the space after it is completed. The space is free to be our dealer's canvas.

just an update on this. last month we decided to pick up that second-hand Amplitude16. At the end of the day, we liked the clean minimal option of one amplified box over many of the Lyngdorf for the same job. there was also the cost savings that was hard to resist. I'm sure we will find the Altitude 16 processor second-hand way before our project is complete. We see them and the 32s at least once or twice a year. cheers.
