I'm trying to use Roon with Audiolense Convolver, which I have already purchased a license. I have no issue with using Convolver with JRiver MC. When using Roon selecting Audiolense Convolver as an ASIO output device, the convolver reports with a red message "Process RAATServer Silent output/no valid license". Sometime it will have audio output, sometimes no audio. When it has audio output, volume control works but Mute doesn't work. Any special procedure/settings require to setup Convolver with Roon?

For some reason, the hardware ID changes when Roon is used. So you need an additional license key with roon. Fortunately you can drop it in a roon folder, and then the convolver will work with roon as well as other players. This is further described in the mail where you received the license key, btw.

Generate a hardware ID from the convolver when this message appears and send it to me. You can do that from the tray menu, accessed via the tray icon by right-clicking the mouse.

Thanks for the reply.

Separately, is there any audio performance difference between running the Audiolense Convolver vs the Roon DSP Convolver? Or pros and cons of using one vs the other?

They should sound the same. The best way to find out which one you prefer is to try the Audiolense convolver. It runs for free for 3 months.
