@Flak - I attended the talk and found it interesting and well presented, despite its manufacturer's slant. I do use Dirac and have used several other DSP methods. In my opinion, Dirac misses the boat when you emphasize only mixed-phase corrections as your distinctive point. You also should mention the tremendous flexibility Dirac provides in adjusting the target curve, which to my ears is of more practical importance. Even the best automatic DSP requires manual adjustment for most natural results -- I mean when used for audio only -- and it seems to me that Dirac offers that better than the competition.
+1 Mike. Also I reckon it would be worth including the B&K Curve as the 'recommended'. Looking at Sonarworks more recent research, nothing seems to have changed much. DD
