As windows phone appears to be dying off, after decades of use by me, it appears I must thrust myself into a android or apple based phone.
I have numerous app. requirements on making this decision.
One is the siriusxm app. Currently on WP8 there is an app. which is free to use with your digital streaming sign on. My question is, the iphone app for Siriusxm: Does it allow you to use it with your streaming account or does it require an independent monthly subscription.

It has been my personal experience that iPhone apps work better than Android. I was an android user, and I switched to Apple because the apps just worked well unlike Android they kept crashing.

I switched to android when the Samsung Galaxy S8+ came out. After 8 days, I switched back to my iPhone 7 Plus. The Samsung galaxy s8+ hardware is great. Software is lacking!

I am all in Apple now. Picked up IPad Mini 4 apps working great, purchased Apple Watch 2 +Nike, now just waiting for the release of the new iPhone ... Once that happens I'll test out the control options, cross platform, to see how they interact with controlling lights, audio, video etc. in my Home Theater.

Make sure you've got multiple backups of any data that you store within your Apple devices. I've learned this the hard way. My wife's iPad died for no reason and now we can't get the pictures that she had in her iPad, and we never did a backup for it either.

I went from a Windows Phone to an iPhone as well. I wish the windows platform would have took hold though cause to me, it was a very good platform. Much better than Android in my book. I now have an iPhone 6s Plus.

I agree. I was die hard windows the whole way. I was streaming live tv to a early version win phone back in the day, flip phone with like a 1 1/2 screen. I still have all my win phones. Will post a pick for fun later.

Added photos of 4 win phones I have had, I believe the oldest I had was a flip phone and was shot so I broke it up and threw it away. The one on the top in the photos is my current phone until the iPhone 7S is released.

IIRC I had a Lumia 920, a 1020 and a 950. All of them were great phones with excellent cameras. That's probably what I miss the most, the camera. Although my 6s plus takes decent pictures.

My IT guy says pictures can be recovered. Have you tried a pro?
